Abhishek Gadhia, founder of houseofscience graduated as an engineer in the summer of 2017 and began his journey in education by joining Youth for India fellowship program. As part of this, he spent a year specifically working with young children on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education.

This immersive experience around the science of pedagogy, shaped his understanding of how children really learn. He then returned to Ahmedabad, his home city, where he mentored children at the Atal Tinkering Labs.

Over the years, these experiences refined his perspective on what children need for an ideal learning environment which eventually led to the creation of houseofscience.

 

houseofscience is a 'school of curiosity,' as we like to phrase it, where children get to dive into science of things by building freely and fearlessly; playing with circuits, coding their own projects, designing cool machines, and figuring out how things work through hands-on experiments.
